Did you know...Direct costs from public expenditures on services for maltreated children and their families exceeded $23 billion in 2004? The Nurse Family Partnership program reduced substantiated child maltreatment among its sample of first-time mothers by 46 percent over a 15-year period.
The Partnership has spent the past four years commissioning and collecting solid economic evidence on the benefits of a range of early childhood interventions and programs. We have also assembled research on innovative ideas for funding programs, in order to move policy during difficult economic times.
